Here’s another Filipino dance group that has made it to the
semi-finals round of “Asia’s Got Talent.”
Meet The Velasco Brothers—a dance group that recently earned
yesses from the show’s judges: Vanness Wu, Anggun, Mel C, and David Foster.
The group, composed of four brothers namely John, Moises,
Emmanuel, and Noah, performed at the show in a way of honoring their father. As
explained by one of the brothers, Emmanuel, the only thing that they inherited
from their deceased father was how they could use their talents as performers.
The comments of the judges:
“That is what I’m talking about. I love how you guys are all brothers and related and you guys are doing it together. It’s a great sight to see.” – Vanness Wu, Taiwanese-American Actor.
“I thought that was a great combination. It was quite unique. I loved the sense of fun as well.” – Melanie C, former member of Spice Girls.
"It was not a great performance and I personally think that there's a better storyline that you can deliver at some point in this show if you get far enough, but I was really, really impressed." – David Foster, composer.
The Velasco Brothers joined ABS-CBN’s “Pilipinas Got Talent”
back in 2010 where they finished as a runner-up to Jovit Baldivino.
